Recipe #6: Strawberry Lime Basil

I hear you. You’re reading this and thinking: “strawberry, lime… and basil?”

Trust me on this one! The basil and lime essential oil combination add a lovely freshness that balances beautifully with the robust fruity strawberry flavor.

Enjoy this one poolside while the kids play. It’s a wonderfully refreshing popsicle recipe perfect for the those hot summer days!

Ingredients:

4 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen)

3 tbsp honey

1/2 c. milk

1 drop lime

1/2 drop Rocky Mountain Oils Basil Essential Oil (run a toothpick over the rim of the essential oil and swirl this around in the mixture)

 

Directions:

Blend fully in a Vita Mix blender and pour into the popsicle molds. Freeze popsicles without sticks for one hour (meanwhile, soak your wooden sticks). After one hour, insert sticks and freeze an additional 2 hours or more. Enjoy!
