About these Christmas Bible Verses

1) I’ve included a brief synopsis of the Christmas Bible verses next to the verse reference so that you can remember which verse is which (it helps me to have these verse reminders as well!).

2) Because some people want Christmas Bible verses in King James Version or Christmas Bible verses in NIV (or in other Bible translations) I’ve chosen not to include the actual Bible verse here. Instead, I’ve included the verse reference for each Christmas Bible verse and a clickable link where you can read the Christmas scripture verse in your preferred translation.

3) You can get a free Christmas Bible Verses Printable with all of these verses in one place! Click here to download the free printable with all the Christmas scriptures.

7 Fun Ways to Use These Christmas Bible Verses

1) Include a Christmas card verse in your annual Christmas card or Christmas letter to family and friends.

2) Write these Christmas Bible quotes on slips of paper and, while you’re out running errands, intentionally leave them behind at strategic locations (next to the checkout line at the store, on a seat in a department store dressing room, etc). This is just one way you can use these Christmas Bible verses as part of Christmas Acts of Kindness activities.

3) Write these Christmas Bible verses on 3 x 5 cards and place them in a jar in the center of your table. Then, every night during the Christmas season, pull one of these cards out from the jar at dinner time to read together as a family.

4) Group these verses together and choose to read a few every week as part of your weekly advent celebrations.

5) Write just the Christmas Bible verse reference on a small slip of paper and place them in an advent countdown calendar. As kids open the doors on the countdown calendar each day, ask them to read that days’ Christmas scripture verse.

6) Choose a handful of these verses and ask kids to take turns reading them on Christmas morning.
