10 Awesome Ways to Teach Kids the True Meaning of Easter

#2 Host a “God’s Easter Gifts” Egg Hunt

Little kids love Easter egg hunts, right? They love the idea of searching for little hidden treasures!

And yet, there’s an opportunity for so much more here than to just hand out candy.

Insert these 12 mini cards–each with an Easter “gift” that we receive–into some of the Easter eggs. Once kids have found the eggs, open them and have an informal discussion about what some of these gifts are (script with Bible verses included for parents).

This is also a great evangelistic tool for kids from other families who may not have heard about the hope of Christ!

Get the mini cards and tools you need for this “God’s Easter Gifts” hunt here as part of the Christ-Centered Easter Family Resources.
